Galo Nuño is Vice Dean and Professor of Economics at IE University. He is also Research Fellow at the CEPR, CESIfo and CEMFI.
Galo has 20 years of experience in central banking, commercial banking, and management consulting. He has previously worked at the BIS, European Central Bank, BBVA, and Boston Consulting Group. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and a MSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
His research focuses on monetary policy, and finance. He has published in journals such as Econometrica, American Economic Review, or Journal of Finance, among many others.
